Our Summerfield Security can be reached 2 ways:
- By Phone: 813-515-0588 please leave a message and a staff member will return your call within 48 hours. If this is an urgent matter, but not an emergency, please call the Non Emergency Sherriff's Office at 813-247-8200.
- Complete the Security Contact Request Form - this form will be submitted to the office and your request will be prioritized ASAP.
If you have a life-threatening emergency dial 911 immediately.
Security Team Duties & Responsibilities:
Our Security Team plays an important role in helping maintain the safety, peace, and appearance of our community. While their presence supports a welcoming environment for all residents, please remember they are not law enforcement. Emergencies, crimes, or immediate safety threats should always be reported directly to 911. The Security Team is responsible for patrolling the community, responding to concerns, and enforcing community rules to ensure everyone can enjoy their neighborhood.
Resident Concerns
The Security Team will respond to calls regarding:
- Noise complaints
- Loitering on community property by unauthorized individuals
- Loitering or disturbances in the Community Center (during operating hours and after closing)
- General disturbances within the community
While on patrol, the Security Team is authorized to issue violation notices for the following:
- Parking on the street or cul-de-sacs between 12:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.
- Parking on grass (including homeowner property and common areas)
- Parking of commercial or work vehicles with signage on property (including backyards)
- Parking or storage of trailers on homeowner property or common areas
- Parking or storage of boats, jet skis, or other watercraft (including backyards)
- Parking or storage of RVs (including backyards)
- Furniture, excessive trash, or other items left on property
